Hi, my name is Julie-Anne, yes...with a hyphen. I was raised speaking French and raised in the french town of Welland Ontario. I grew up in a small town, where no one I knew ever used wax for hair removal. Sugaring to remove hair is all we knew. I was taught hair removal as a teenager and worked at a salon where I learned from my mentor Brigitte who trademarked the  phrase “The Patat” (french word for potato, but in French it's a funny word to describe the bikini area and more).

 

While working in the banking industry for 15 years and raising two wonderful boys, I continued to have a passion for hair removal. I even became certified in laser hair removal and botox, but I’m not offering those services just now. I understand the benefits and shortcomings of a lot of beauty methods for your skin. 

 

I casually maintained my sugaring trade for the past 23 years helping friends and family remove unwanted hair but didn’t want the pain and skin damage that other hair removal systems can cause.

 

Now in my 40’s, post big corporate, I am redefining myself and establishing a home based business that helps people. My vision is not only to help people with their beauty needs, but also help other mom’s and homemakers become the best that they can be. If you’re interested in the business, please let me know.
